Johan, what can our clients expect from you?
I would hope that our clients will experience confidence, responsiveness, versatility, insight and above all, quality. These are some of the attributes associated with the Work Dynamics brand and I'll be aiming to live those brand values.
What did you do before joining Work Dynamics?
I have worked for a consulting psychologist firm and served as an internal assessment consultant for a construction company. I also ran my own human resource consulting company, offering a wide range of services: assessments, training and development, coaching and selection and general human resource consulting. Two years spent in Sydney, Australia, also provided valuable experience - I worked as a talent management consultant, consulting on and delivering large assessments and development solutions in the banking sector.
What excites you about your job?
I am absolutely passionate about people development - making sure that people with the right skills, abilities, understanding, values, behaviour and attitudes are employed at the right place at the right time. After all, it is people that provide an organisation with a competitive advantage.
Understanding the needs of clients and then offering solutions that best serve those needs are aspects that I enjoy.
Overall, I'd like to know that I'm making a positive contribution to helping South Africa to become globally competitive.
