Work Dynamics, a leading organisational psychologist consultancy in South Africa, today announced the appointment of Linda Cecil Nene as its latest non-executive board member effective as of the 1st of April this year. Nene is a seasoned expert in the field of auditing and financial management and boasts an array of qualifications, including a BCom Degree in Accounting and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, specialising in Corporate Governance, from Monash University.
Francois Wilbers, Managing Director of Work Dynamics, says that the appointment of Nene is not only in line with the organisation’s ethos of fostering diversity, but that he also came very highly recommended. “It will be fantastic having someone of his calibre on the team to assist us in maintaining our reputation for excellence and to reach our business objectives.”
In addition to his BCom degree and post grad diploma, Nene also holds a Certification in Control Self-Assessment, Certification in Risk Management Assurance and he is a certified Compliance Professional (CPP), says Wilbers. “Nene is currently studying towards an Associate Membership Programme in Treasury Management (ATMPR). With his extensive experience in compliance management, Nene will help us prosper as a corporation while maintaining our primary business ideals.”
Nene has held a number of senior roles in the internal auditing profession for large conglomerates including Acting Audit Manager for BoE Bank; Senior Auditor at Engen Petroleum Ltd and Supervising Auditor for Chevron Oil SA (responsible for Africa, Pakistan and Middle East Operations).
At the recent Southern African Compliance Awards Ceremony, held in Johannesburg November 2014, PetroSA Group Compliance awarded Linda’s stewardship, the prestigious title of ‘Compliance Team of the Year”.
