“Over the course of 2013 we worked in partnership with Work Dynamics on the development of a customised development centre for one of the critical roles within the business which is fundamental to executing our strategy. The project phases covered identifying core competencies and design of a full assessment centre; pilot assessments and validity exercise; assessment of 128 managers nationally and writing up of individual reports; feedback sessions which consisted of coaching discussions together with their superior, the Regional Director. The feedback from the Regional Directors on the coaching sessions has been particularly useful as it will help focus on identifying development requirements going forward. This is a significant investment for Virgin Active South Africa and we are sharing the approach we have taken with other territories internationally in the Group. We found the Work Dynamics team to be highly qualified, experienced and personable in their approach and look forward to continuing the relationship into 2014.”
